Zurab Aznaurashvili is the Chairperson of the Personal Data Protection Officer Association of Georgia. Since April 2024, he has served as the Head of Personal Data Protection Services at the international auditing firm, Nexia Georgia.

In parallel, he is actively involved in academia as an Associate Professor at East European University (EEU) and serves as the Head of the University’s Scientific-Research Center for State and Law. He holds a Master of European Public Law (LL.M.) degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Master of Public International Law (MA) degree from Tbilisi State University. Mr. Aznaurashvili possesses 15 years of experience in supervisory and monitoring positions within the public sector, as well as significant experience collaborating as an expert with international organizations such as the Council of Europe, IFES/USAID, and International IDEA.
