International Forum on Access to Public Information and Personal Data Protection
The forum was organized by the Personal Data Protection Officers Association of Georgia (PDPOA), in cooperation with the European Federation of Data Protection Officers (EFDPO) and the State and Law Research Center of East European University, which brings together international personal data protection associations and local sector representatives
The aim of the forum was to examine the scientific and practical aspects of access to public information and personal data protection, to promote an understanding of Georgia’s experience in the context of best international practices, to support the implementation and development of high standards of personal data protection, and to raise public awareness on data protection-related issues
